Sharing a drive over a network
 

I have shared a folder over my network and can read and write files perfectly.

My one problem is when i try and save a file from the internet to this drive it tells me that i do not have proper privillages to do so. Its driving me crazy anyone have any idea?

Are you talking about your Synology NAS Alan?
If so, have you set it up to allow access from the Internet?

No i was on about a partition.

Its sorted now, no idea what went wrong but i changed the ownership of the drive and remapped it and seems ok now.
