That happens more than you would think. Some drug dealers really are very, very thick. :dunce:

Or they are the supreme example of what happens when you use too much of your own product..

I think this qualifies as well:

Quote:

Thieves in Manchester dug a 100ft (30m) underground tunnel to get to a cash machine.

The theft happened overnight on Monday 2 January at Blockbuster in Fallowfield Shopping Precinct.

A similar plot was foiled in the same area in 2007, and police believe it may have been carried out by the same gang.

Thieves dug the tunnel directly under the cash machine and used machinery to cut through more than 15in (38cm) of concrete to steal the money.

Det Sgt Ian Shore from Longsight CID said: "In all my years of service, I've never seen anything as elaborate."

The passageway was about 4ft (1.2m) tall
However, the thieves only escaped with about £6,000 - because the machine had not been re-filled after the New Year bank holiday.
I wonder how that works out as an hourly wage. Must be less than minimum wage. I also wonder how much they were expecting to take. There can't be that much in the average cash machine to make digging a 30 meter tunnel worthwhile?

Hourly rates pretty poor...

Officers believe the people responsible could have spent up to six months digging the passageway

A quick Google indicates that they hold between £5k and £120k, apparently.

Banks are understandably cagey about confirming this sort of thing but a mate of mine who used to work at Barclays told me a figure which is in that region, but around Christmas it can double that amount. That's probably what they were aiming for.

The best one I saw was caught on CCTV.

A guy trys to throw a brick though a shop window, but it has toughened glass and bounces back and knocks him out.

That is really funny. I love that kind of comedy.
