RYAN MOORE, the three-time champion jockey who has missed a large part of the 2011 season due to an injury, has reportedly confirmed that he will be riding as stable jockey for Aidan O'Brien next season and it seems loyalty has gone out of the window here as it was Stoute who made him champion.

Den, imho the major plus for top jockeys is landing a plumb job with O`Brien or Godolphin....they then can wave goodbye too any chance of becoming Champion jockey. Money and Worlwide recognition win again.

TRAINER Richard Hannon came out in full support of his stable jockey Richard Hughes on Friday, a day after the rider relinquished his licence following a second whip suspension in four days Hughes, who was fourth in the Flat jockeys' championship, will miss the ride aboard Strong Suit in the Breeders' Cup Mile after he was deemed to have struck the unraced juvenile More Than Words six times in the final furlong, one hit over the threshold, in a 6f maiden at Kempton on Thursday.

The threat of a strike by jockeys at fixtures on Monday over new whip regulations has been been averted after the British Horseracing Authority and Professional Jockeys Association agreed to a meeting that day.

Racing's authorities moved to calm the situation after jockey protests threatened to boil over into strike action.

FRANKEL will have the eyes on the racing world upon him on Saturday as he not only aims to maintain his magnificent unbeaten record in the Qipco Queen Elizabeth II Stakes but also give the sport a much needed boost in a week dominated by the furore over the new whip rules.

JOCKEY Gerald Mosse and flying French filly Immortal Verse have the unenviable task of trying to defeat the unbeaten Frankel in Saturday's Qipco-sponsored Queen Elizabeth II Stakes at Ascot and the rider described it as a "different challenge" to the one his mount faced when she lowered the colours of 14-time Group 1 winner Goldikova on her last start.
